Govinda Naam Mera filmywap (transl. Govinda is My Name) is a 2022 Indian Hindi-language satire spine chiller movie composed and coordinated by Shashank Khaitan and created by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta and Shashank Khaitan under the standard Dharma Creations, in relationship with Viacom18 Studios. The film stars Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar and Kiara Advani. It was debuted on 16 December 2022 on Disney+Hotstar

Production
Development
It was reported in January 2020 that Karan Johar and Shashank Khaitan were set to meet again after a few joint efforts for a government operative parody named Mr. Lele featuring Varun Dhawan, Bhumi Pednekar, and Janhvi Kapoor.[1][2] A first-look banner was subsequently delivered highlighting Dhawan.[1] Notwithstanding, the venture was racked up a couple of months after the fact because of the Coronavirus pandemic in India.[3] In January 2021, the film was restored with Pednekar rejoining the cast, Vicky Kaushal supplanting Dhawan and Kiara Advani supplanting Kapoor.[2]
Filming
Head photography of the film started in Mumbai in Spring of 2021.[4] The recording was stopped for a long time in April when both Kaushal and Pednekar tried positive for Coronavirus in the second flood of the Coronavirus pandemic.[5] The shoot continued in June 2021. A tune from the film was shot during the finish of August 2021 on board the Roll-on/roll-off to Alibaug. A few scenes highlighting Kaushal and Advani were likewise shot in Pondicherry.[6][7]
